Charlotte and Patrick’s wedding was the perfect blend of timeless tradition and relaxed outdoor celebration. After a beautiful church ceremony, they welcomed their family and friends to Patrick’s family lakehouse, where our Giant Tipis created a stunning woodland wedding reception surrounded by nature.

Nestled amongst the trees with breathtaking lakeside views, the Tipis provided a warm and inviting space for guests to dine, celebrate and dance long into the evening. The natural setting perfectly complemented the Tipis, creating a romantic woodland wedding that felt effortlessly connected to its surroundings.

With the weather forecast looking increasingly wet in the lead-up to the wedding, Charlotte and Patrick decided to add an additional Giant Tipi just a week before their big day. This created a dedicated post-ceremony bar and lounge, complete with cosy seating where guests could enjoy a drink, catch up with family and friends, and stay warm and dry whatever the weather. It proved to be a fantastic last-minute addition, allowing the celebrations to flow seamlessly from the cathedral to the lakeside reception.

From the grandeur of the church ceremony to the tranquillity of Patrick’s family lakehouse, every part of Charlotte and Patrick’s wedding reflected who they are as a couple. Their day is a wonderful reminder that, with a little flexibility and the right setup, an outdoor tipi wedding can be every bit as magical in the rain as it is in the sunshine.
